I've just seen this extraordinary film: Midnight in Paris. It was written and directed by Woody Allen, and stars Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.
Let me tell you this is a stunning movie. The trailer does not do it justice. Owen Wilson's  character wanders the streets of Paris, and every night, as the clock tolls  midnight, a car comes by, and whisks him into the past. He finds himself in the  20's surrounded by members of the Lost generation and some of the world's best  artists: Hemingway, the Fitzgerald's, Picasso, Gertrude Stein, and Salvador  Dali. The movie has the theme of nostaliga throughout and explores the contrast  between romanticism and harsh reality.
