MUSIC VIDEO [Adam Lambert – Never Close Our Eyes]

This dude keeps on amazing me. After releasing an impeccable first single (which wasn’t as successful as it should have been), Adam bring us the official video for his second single Never Close Our Eyes. His album Trespassing is in stores now and it contains some pretty good music on it.

The video has a great concept and an awesome visual, just like its predecessor. To me, he is a true idol.

Last Thursday and Friday, Britney kicked off her judging job with The X-Factor USA in Austin, Texas!

MUSIC VIDEO [Kylie Minogue – Timebomb]

Kylie is a Goddess and we were missing her already. Timebomb is the single from her upcoming greatest hits album, which commemorates her 25th anniversary in the music industry. The song just shows the power that this woman has to create a hit in every funky electro-pop number that she records.

The video was premiered today, and we can see Kylie looking fierce, intense and sexy, while having quite an adventure in London.

We’re on a timebomb, you might not last long
So let’s just do it right now, do it, come on!

VINTAGE PICS

Ryan Reynolds did a photo shoot for the October 2010 issue of GQ magazine. It was a nice one and the photographer was Peggy Sirota!

He’s not only a great actor, but a handsome and sexy man. I envy him.

MUSIC VIDEO [Simple Plan & Sean Paul – Summer Paradise]

Simple Plan is not a group formed by some silly teenagers anymore. They’ve grown up into mature men, or at least they’re making the transition.

Summer Paradise is their latest single and it features Sean Paul. Yes, I didn’t think that this combination would be possible, but the result is pretty nice. The song also has a French version (they’re from Canada and speak French), and an original version which has K’naan instead of Sean Paul.

The video shows the guys in a beautiful beach surrounded by hot chicks, just fooling around, flirting and having fun. I like it, like it.

X-FACTORNEY

Since the beginning of the year, several articles have been written regarding the possibility of Britney Spears joining the judges’ panel in the American version of The X-Factor. But yesterday, the rumors were finally confirmed by Simon Cowell himself at the Fox Upfronts in NYC.

And not only that, Britney showed up to the event, as well as Demi Lovato, the fourth judge for the second season. We’ll have to wait until September to watch the Princess comment on the contestants’ performances, but I know she’ll be just great.

Also, it has been reported that our lovely Brit will receive 15 million dollars for her work during this season, which is more than what Christina Aguilera received from The Voice, and from what American Idol is paying to JLo. But how much will Demi receive? Well, according to the articles that I read, she will only obtain one million dollars.

MUSIC VIDEO [Jedward – Waterline]

The Irish twins, John and Edward, will represent their country at the Eurovision contest for the second consecutive year later this month. After placed in the top 10 of the contest last year, they will try luck once again, this time with the song Waterline.

The video for the song was directed and edited by the twins themselves, and the shoot took place in Tokyo!

Well done guys and good luck at the Eurovision.

MUSIC VIDEO [M. Pokora – On Est Là]

This is the second single from À La Poursuite Du Bonheur, the latest album from M. Pokora. The song is refreshing and its rhythm is great, definitely my favorite song from the album. On Est Là means “we are there” in French.

The video was filmed in Barcelona, Spain; and I have to admit that I was expecting something more. However I love his sunglasses and his watch.

Matt has just launched the À La Poursuite Du Bonheur Tour recently and will spend the rest of the year touring France and a couple of cities in different countries.

THE BEST OF KYLIE MINOGUE [Official Album Cover]

It was announced that Kylie will release a new greatest hits album later this year to commemorate her 25 successful years in the music industry.

She also did a series of concerts for her hardcore fan base in Australia and the UK called the Anti-Tour because it has neither dancers, nor outfit changes; and she only sang B-sides and some bonus track material from her entire career. It was a cute gift to her fans in this 25th career anniversary.

Last week, the artwork for the album cover was revealed and it’s the most original greatest hits album cover I’ve ever seen. Look at some of her previous single covers on the pins she has on her jacket.

MUSIC VIDEO [Foster The People – Houdini]

Foster The People continues to amaze! This time they have released the official video for their song Houdini and it’s their best video to date.

In the video the band suffered a tragic disease when they’re rehearsing for a concert and their lightning equipment falls over the stage they’re in. Their team laments their deaths because of the show that was already scheduled for the next day, and calls some experts to use the band members’ corpses as puppets. It was a great idea and they ended turning the corpses into robots in order to make the concert. The new Foster The Robots showed up and performed the show of their lives (or should I say deaths) in front of an enthusiastic audience.

Check out this masterpiece.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ GREATEST HITS BY SAM TSUI

Sam Tsui is a YouTube sort of celebrity, who is famous because of the covers he’s made. He records both music and vocals, edits amazing videos, and always chooses great songs to cover.

This time he wisely decided to make a medley of 14 of the Pop Princess’ biggest hits in a video of 5 minutes 40 seconds. It’s like a mash-up actually and his voice fits very well. The music he made for Toxic and Till The World Ends is awesome.

This dude is super talented!

QUOTE OF THE MONTH

“I don’t even need your love,
You treat me like a stranger, and that feels so rough…
Guess that I don’t need that though,
Now you’re just somebody that I used to know.”
